Am i over reacting or is she wrong to think that?

There is this girl named andrea in my 6th grade cl. Andrea was dating a fourth grader. This guy and i were calling her a cougar just to be funny she was laughing to. she said that when she left she heard me saying some very foul and mean things about her which i never said. am i over reacting or is she wrong to think that about me?
