Why do my htc apps open up on there own and how can i stop this?

i have advanced task killer on my htc and after i kill the apps that reduce my battery and dont need to use anymore for some reason when i go back into the task killer magically they have opened again so i have to kill them.... can someone tell me why and how on earth do i stop this from happening????????????
