I have a milk situation?

The last gallon jug of milk I bought sat in my fridge for like 2.5 weeks. I just don't drink alot of eet. I don't like to buy the 1/2 gallon because the expiration date is always like 2 days out and I don't want it to spoil plus the 1/2 and full gallon cost about the same. The milk people KNOW this and they are just being greedy and using trickery to get me to buy the full gallon. Who can I squawk to about this? Oooooh this makes me SO mad I'm red faced and shaking my fists right now.
