The doctor told me I dont have an ear infection a few weeks ago. Now I have green earwax?

He told me not to go inside the ear and clean. So I havent in two weeks. Today I clean my ear and there is wet green slimy earwax that smells foul. Do you kno what this is? I really need to start going to a different doctor they are terrible.
