How long will canned food and bottled water last?

How long will regular bottles (gallons or smaller in regular plastic jugs) last in a cool room (slightly lower than room temp like a basement) out of sunlight? And how long would canned food like peaches, spaghetieos and veggies stay good and not spoil? And what about regular plastic 6-pack crackers last?
