What should i do? really upset?

ok well over easter break i got a new hobby and decided to start making happy easter cards. i mad each one very carefully and each took me about 20 minutes to make. i made over 20. i dont have many friends so this was just the way i kept my self entirtained. i decided to sell these cards to people around door to door and most ppl were nice but said no. but 1 guy i went to his door and i asked him if he wanted to buy any cards. he said sure and he said hed be right back cuz he was gonna get some money. he came back with a big white jug, i thought it was kinda weird but he said "you probably think i'm crazey, its ok i just keep the money in the jug" and laughed so i laughed 2. then he came over to me with the jug and poored hot gravy over my cards! i was so shocked and i started to cry i didnt know what to do so i kinda got mad and he just laughed and shut the door. i had to throw my cards away and i jst went home. im so upset i dunno what to do please reply
